Passport to Leisure group take a trip on the Marston Vale Line

6 March 2025

With a visit to Ridgmont Station and the Signalling Centre

The Abbey Line Community Rail Partnership supported Passport to Leisure on an #abbeylinedayout up to Ridgmont Heritage Centre.

Our colleagues from the Marston Vale Community Rail Partnership met us at Bletchley Station and gave us a tour there, as well as the excellent facilities at Rigmont. Thanks so much for hosting us!

We were treated to a tour of the Heritage Centre, enjoying a presentation about the restoration of the building and role-playing buying train tickets in the ‘olden days’. We were also lucky enough to be allowed into the Signalling Centre there (no photos allowed!)

The sun shone and everyone had a great time!

You can reach Ridgmont by Abbey Line train, changing at Watford Junction for Bletchley.

Passport to Leisure is a group of adults with learning disabilities and carers who meet up every week to socialise and try new things.
