Volunteering & Station Adoption
Volunteering is at the heart of the Abbey Line Community Rail Partnership. We work with local people, schools, and organisations to help make our stations and surrounding areas welcoming, safe, and vibrant. We also have a varied programme of rail-related activities that volunteers can get involved with.
What can volunteers do?
- Help at community events
- Assist with projects
- Take part in gardening and station enhancements
You can also become a Station Adopter, joining a nationwide network of over 1,300 groups. Adopters help create attractive, welcoming stations by adding planters, artwork, and signage, while fostering community pride and inclusion.
Volunteering is flexible – do as much or as little as you like. It’s a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, and make a positive impact on your local area.
Please let us know if you have any access or other needs for us to accomodate.
