More progress at Garston Community Garden

Preparing for the raised beds and wildflower planting

Volunteers from the Department for Transport Rail Services Team worked hard at the Garston Station Community Garden today.

Together with other Abbey Line CRP volunteers, they laid roadstone which will be the base for our raised beds, helped with weeding, litter picking, making pathways and planting wildflowers.

They also took part in a handprint flower craft activity. All groups helping this year will make one, and all flowers will be displayed at the garden to commemorate everyone’s help and our joint achievements.

Many hands make light work!

We thank all the volunteers today very much.

Please get in touch if you are interested in volunteering at the Garden too. We’d love to welcome you.
