Admire the Poppies at St Albans Abbey Station and the Cottonmill Centre

We’re thrilled to have worked together with local community group, LeeAnna’s Wish, to create crocheted poppies for display at St Albans Abbey Station and at the Cottonmill Community and Cycling Centre.

The ‘Create & Craft’ group spent several of their weekly sessions creating these beauties.

See more in the article in the St Albans Times and in this lovely video.

Based in Cottonmill/Sopwell, LeeAnna’s Wish provides support for protected groups living in and around St Albans. Their inter-generational projects aim to engage, empower, and promote friendships and social interaction.

Donate to the Poppy Appeal

We hope the displays will draw attention to the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal and encourage people to donate to this worthy charity.

The Royal British Legion is the country’s largest Armed Forces charity, helping give support wherever and whenever it’s needed to our Armed Forces community.
