Annual General Meeting – June 2024
The Abbey Line Community Rail Partnership's AGM took place on 17th June 2024 at The Abbey Theatre, St Albans.
Sandy Walkington was re-elected as Chair and Robert Varney was re-elected Vice-chair.
We had the pleasure of hosting our guest speaker – Prof Stephen Joseph – who gave us a thought-provoking presentation entitled ‘A new agenda for sustainable travel’.
The meeting was well attended by local stakeholders and steering group representatives, including:
Abfly Rail Users Group, Watford Rail Users Group, Bricket Wood Station Heritage Trust, British Transport Police, Oaklands College, Watford and Three Rivers Friends of the Earth/Sustainable Southwest Herts, St Albans City & District Council, Communities 1st and St Albans Community Pantry.
